I think I could have gotten it a bit cheaper, but I didn't want to offend the guy by low balling him. We both thought 3500 was a fair price though so it's all good.
He mentioned that the boots and plugs were just changed, not sure about the springs though. He's supposed to be sending me the maintenance records so I'll find out.
Coolant flush will happen soon. If the heater core is worse than on the Grand Prix then I definitely don't want to mess with it lol.
The shop that did the pre-purchase inspection checked for play throughout the entire suspension and found none so I should be good on that (for now)
It really is in solid shape. The only thing they found was a minuscule amount of oil from the oil pan gasket and the A/C accumulator looked like it had some UV dye leaking out of it. That was really all that was wrong with it. Tires still have a lot of life left, new brakes, no play in suspension.
And this thing definitely does shift like a poppop's car unless you really get on it and even then it ain't great lol. I was just reading about the MZT mod on crownvic.net so I might go down that route unless you have other suggestions.
Edit: And by all means be as long winded as you want to be. I need to learn this stuff.
