I upload to google photos and then use picasa. Copy and paste from picasa and use the IMG tags like usual.

In picasa hold down on the picture and hit copy. It copies the URL to paste into the IMG tag

Google retired Picassa in favor of Google photos.
What am I missing that makes Google photos difficult?

seems like I dead end at google photos embed code (direct link URL & image embed code) on CTRLQ.org . Theres both there but I cant copy them?

Highlight in blue, then copy, add to gpf advanced insert image, uncheck box. That work?

You can use this CTRLQ link to which is easier and BIG, it uses IMGUR to host.

I like em big, you can just about walk into this original image and look around. This forum is shrinking them to about half size.
