Thread: Figured I'd Write A Slightly More Formal 'Adios'

i see why street is leaving.

its not about cars, obviously the man has a passion for them.

its the hole attitude and where the community is going. even with the last year that ive been around, the passion has seemed to blemish away from what it was.

street is a pretty die hard enthusiest and when you get around a bunch of guys that dont share the same passion but yet think they know everything about the car, it gets pretty aggravating. makes us look like honda owners.


also i dont understand how someone can post there opion, then someone else will "flank" there opion, with an opion, but dont want "flank" back.

its seemed like all this has turned into is opions vs opions....

i dont blame you street.

ha. just generalizing. not pointing a figer at anyone. and really thats not even fare to generalize to the honda guys, cause some of them are just like us, car enthusiest. but its when you get people together that are just throwing around opions, not careing to take the time to listen or find out, it kinda takes away the entusiasm.

the forums are here to help and learn but sometimes you have to take the time to find out for yourself.

all i know about this is that street was a cool guy that always answered any questions i had. end of story. its too bad hes leaving but i do see his point definitely

We didn't always see eye to eye, but he always offered help when I asked a question. The forum is definitely less without him here.

i agree with the great reading. never personally tried talking to him, but he was always posting help in my sometimes very dumb threads. and the bluntness/sarcasm he brought was good sometimes.

Well Street...I haven't been on here too long but all the help I got when I did need it you or someone else was there to give it.

It is a real let down to see someone of your caliber leave the GP Community but I guess I understand your feelings about it. Like it was said in the thread...these cars are becoming cheap. Stupid High School kids are getting them and joining up here starting crap and aggravating many people...I will miss the Rotary Motivational Poster (Behold Doritios on a Stick LMAO!!)

Good luck at whatever you do man and don't be a stranger...who knows, maybe we'll get this site back to your specs and you'll come back!!
