How to remove dash board – the one with the light sensor init??

Ever since I got this 2000 GT, the front plastic dash thatruns up to the window has a lip/edge (facing the passenger side) that is curledup about a quarter to half an inch. I’m guess its sun baked. It’s the 5” deepbut dash board wide part that has the defrost ducts as well as the light sensorin it.

Do I just pop/pry it off like most of other things in thiscar?? LOL. Thought I’d ask the experts here before I started breaking brittle16 year old parts on my car. I’m like to pop it out and see if I can get it tofit better or just find another one at pick a part.

    Thanks in advance!!

I’ll try and grab a pic if necessary.
