So been looking at building a new computer for 4k gaming, but it was just too expensive.. then I saw benchmarks showing that my little FX 8350 does very well in 4k gaming(due to it relying more on GPU instead of CPU)
So long story short I forked out $700 (Canadian) and bought this bad boy

But it doesn't fit in my case by 2cm!!!! So when I get home taking some tin snips to modify my case a bit lol

Lol I don't think I ever had a card that heavy.
I got it in, had to cut the first 2 storage bays out and it slipped right in, this thing is awesome I never had such a strong GPU, play all my games maxed out, AA and all and every game is smooth as butter, Witcher 3, the new tomb raider, doom, project cars. I want to start playing tomb raider but almost beat the newest expansion of Witcher 3 so should get that done.

A cool feature of the cards is it has led lighting and you can control the colours, can pick from millions of colors, I'll try to get some pics when I got time.

    Lol I know right.

This is pretty much my full build: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/trQGJV

Also changed the graphics card lighting to match the lighting theme, black and blue

What case is that? We've been looking for a new board. Probably wait until the next AMD's come out.

    Zalman z9+, nothing fancy really.
I was going to wait for the new amd, but after seeing their benchmarks were just as good as Intel broadwell cpu's(one generation behind) I decided to jump to Intel latest cpu's.
