I saw that yesterday. Can you imagine the air flow that could go through that thing? Thing does look really sweet though, but I think I'll just stick with a ported option for now.

My N* is plenty, but if I didn't have it and wanted bigger TB, that one looks perfect.

It depends on your setup. If you are little mods a n* would be better. But if you are heavily modded m90 or turbo it will give you alot more maf headroom than the northstar.

Im suprised it is finally out! They showed pics of that a year ago. That price is really good also as I recall it being mentioned to be around the $450 range. Its still a chunk of change but a great deal for a bolt on throttle body. The 78mm helps too, with the Eaton blowers all the air you can throw at them helps, thats why I will have a T70 feeding mine this year . Wbody store also said a year ago when these pics were released that they were working on one also but I havent seen or heard anything about it since. If $350 is still more than you want to spend for a big throttle body there are 78mm ported LS1 and N* throttle bodies out there between $100-$175 but you still need the adapter. I am glad to see this finally out on the market, definately long overdue and a great price to go with it.

What do you find lame about that TB? It's a large billet TB and something that doesn't require an adapter plate or electical connectors and uses stock sensors.

I acutally had a FAST 90mm one, but thought there would be wicked tip in and after I had the blower ported to 80mm ... I was thinking an extra 10mm over that would be A LOT to take out, like enough to make crack the case or something. I'm happy with an 80mm one...for now anyway. (Even though my car is in peices !!!)

I actually got to handle TDC's new Billet when I was down in KC last weekend. That puppy is SWEET! It truly is SOLID aluminium carved into a stock looking TB. Its heavy duty no doubt! And yes it would replace having the need for a TB Spacer for sure!!

Maybe it would be something worth looking at instead of a N* or something else?
