So i am seriously considering getting a battery ratchet.

    there are two choices available
    http://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee...7-21/202957709 from milwaukee

Smaller lighter of the two and has 35 ft-lbs of torque

then there is the delco http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-ARW120...attery+ratchet
57 ft lbs comes with two batteries.

my issue with it is that its over a foot long, so im not sure its going to get into tight spaces well.

    What are your thougths?

you will have to be careful. you will more than likely snap the connection inside the battery and not have a battery anymore

I am a tech and must say that I love the milwaukee ratchet.
I have been using it for about a year with no problems. I went with the 3/8" because that is what was cheaper at the time. I was able to buy the ratchet, battery and charger separately gor $120 on ebay.
