how far is that from Newark?
|
i know i was just there, some friends are staying on m j king boulevard right off of 21 and i was visting and running down stares everything 30min make sure my car was still there on the side of the street, but im about 25mins north in ramsey and not sure if you know where ramsey is and newark is a big and known city
yup i know both ares real well, Ramsey is nice, Newark is a slum lol
Ramsey's 20 minutes (rt 17) north of of me with no traffic. Newark 20 minutes south what a difference lol
your safe during the day, mlk is the sh1t tho, dont stay there to late, gun fire all that good stuff.
i saw just after a guy was shot, the cops were just showing up, blood everywhere, not a good place to be, some of the garbage stops i was making were at bodegas, and well lets just say you always watch your back, theres always some junky walking around trying to grub off you or mug you.
I'm like 10 mins from MLK. You weren't that far from me
i didnt leave last night still 12(pm), didnt hear any gun fire but they said theyve heard it before, there were lots of ppl out walking the streets it was weird
so you only 20mins away so thats like 3 miles down the street since it take FOREVER to get anywhere up here,
i saw lots of gp over there most were se's with the catfish bumpers
you just need to know when not to get on the high way and when to get on, after 2 pm rt 17 is crawling , the rt 4 and 17 intersection rules, (not) and then you get the back up on 17 into 87 / 287 to go upstate NY.
but at least you are safe in Ramsey, is nice to have a front and back yard at every house you see, and most are well kept. large lots too.
im more on the woodchiff lake part and every house is huge with 5 cars sitting in front of it, 9 out of 10 cars i see around here, besides on 17, are new bmws merks or audi,
oh and theres grand prix's all over the place here, i see more century's ( the tan/beige ones are all over) than i see regals, at one time i had 3 intrigue's in my lot here, now, none lol
not really, im always amazed at some of the locations guys find to shoot pic of their cars, im liking the industrial one best these days, the old broken down mill, and a shiny car in the middle of it type stuff, not much like that left around here. we do have a bunch of parks and rivers.
if you want to you can got to the bottom of the gorge Washington Bridge, there's a park, and you could get shots with the bridge in the back ground, other than that im lost lol. its free to go down there too this time of the year, boat basin down there, and a boat ramp at the base of the bridge tower, heres a link to the park, under the bridge Palisades Interstate Park - NJ Section
hers a map of the area, ross dock is one name down there, but the best way to get down there this time of the years is the e palisades road, take it east to the water and go down the side of the mountain road to the bottom and head south to the bridge, nice wooded drive to the hudson river. not much for NYC views, but the you have the river as a back drop too. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&cp...ed=0CCkQ8gEwAA

i like the GW,,might have to do that..maybe we can meet up down there or somewhere so we can get both ours cars in it, never done a shot with your cars could be fun
You can go to Liberty State Park (I think that's the name) to take pics
yes liberty state park, thats right, there you can get the bottom of NYC, (the big part) and the back of the statue of liberty. exit 14 off the turn pike, to 78 east i think, you'll see signs for it, another boat ramp there too.
A few years ago I used to own a few hondas and there were a few meets at Liberty State Park. Lots of space, quiet, and nice scenary for pics IMO
Jersey city I think
