I was looking to get a set of SSAC header installed on my car. I am in the Springboro/ Centerville area and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a good place to go to have them installed. I am hoping to stay under $200 for the installation, but it isn't a deal breaker.

so I ordered my headers from SSAC and a shift kit from TEP. Should I also get a hi-flow cat converter? Are there any good PCM tuners in the dayton area or should I just go with Overkill?

Up to Coldwater,OH, I was thinking the same thing. But as of right now thats the only option I have. I tried to get muffler bros. (which is by me and they said they dont do headers at all).

I could come down to you if you wanna put gas in the tank. I was in dayton yesterday. I could do the shift kit too if you wanted. If you wanna help me the price goes down I'm about 1.5 hours from you if i take my time.

Ok, cool. We can knock them both out. Im definitely interested in helping that would be a great experience for me. I read through the thread about installing Speed Daddy headers to see if it was something I could do myself, and it seemed a lil intimidating for a noob like me. I'm excited about this, so I will dm after they both arrive to set up a day for me to drive up to Coldwater. 😃

Man 7-8 hrs... Is that norm? What type of complications did y'all run into?

Just didn't expect it to take 8 hrs. Yeah the little confidence I would have built up to do it alone would have been destroyed by all the complications that one may experience while doing headers. Yeah I'll stick wit the mini meet.

I took my time and had problems getting the rear header into place while keeping the gasket on it and after all was said and done i found i had my wiring harness pinched in there and burned the wiring right there. Then i had to cut my exhaust off and drill new holes for it to bolt up to the dp. I'm sure I could get it done in at least half the time now.

For future installs...take a look at the Easy way to install header thread by me. I can see it taking some time your first go at it. After that..it will go much faster.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
