Do you guys know anyone who doesnt charge an arm and a leg for tire mounting + balancing and alignment? i dont want to pay $200+ to mount 4 tires, balance them and get an alignment. thats ridiculous.

I used to live up north...

have you tried Tuffys? Most are owner operated, and will install items not purchased from them specifically, unlike Firestone.

i know this is going to sound stupid, but try walmart. if they sell tires they also mount/balance tires. they are god awful cheap.

    I don't think Wal-Mart can do alignments.

i agree, but for cheap mounting and balancing i dont see why not.

and when you do go get an alignment, check out the sheet they print you out and if the alignment sucks make them do it again. seriously, most alignment techs have no clue what they are doing and all they do is put everything within factory spec ranges and then leave it. i for one will be telling them what i want done on my alignment, not letting them do it how they want.

stay away from walmart... They are known to strip studs, lug etc.... If I still had my tire machine I'd do it for free...

ill try sears for alignment. for 75 bucks they did good with my brothers car and my dads as well. they give you the print out as well so you see if they ****ed you over.

    tires is still a problem.

i dont do walmart. i never get anything from there.

I had good service at Firestone. Managed to talk the guy into giving me money off, but I was in Wisconsin at the time.
