    A little update.
I fixed some of my false KR by securing the Trans dipstick. That got rid of a lot of the false KR. I still have to change the front o2 or bash in the fire wall some more though.

I spent the day today cleaning out my regal, removing any weight that i could. I managed to off 75 lbs worth of spare tire, jack, tools that couldn't be used by the side of the road in an emergency, etc. I also did some basic maintenance like new AL103s gapped at .050 and i went out and tuned.

I also ordered Casper's FP hot-wire kit. I already have the ZZP, but i liked the reviews for the caspers vs the ZZP. I also should mention that they are currently on sale for $35.

On my way home tonight, a deer ran out in front of me and i hit it and went off the road. Im ok but the regal has seen better days. I hope i can get through the insurance company quick enough, so i can repair it and get it back on the road.

Yeah, they will total it. They might value the car at 2500-3000 but the damage and cost of new parts/paint will cost 1500-2000 easy.

Sorta like my sisters bonneville, a ford ranger ran a light and smacked the front right fender and it damaged the door too. Repair costs were 1500-2000 but the car was still worth 4,000 so they ended up fixing it. And because the other driver was at fault.

If they total it buy it back with money they give you and then fix it.

Can't see where you are from on mobile, but I'm in Ohio and going through a rebuild of a truck that was "totaled" because of body damage. Get reciepts with VINs for EVERYTHING you replace.

That's helpful! Maybe raise value of the car less likely to total it

Yeah if they total it, easiest route is to find a shell and use your car as the parts car.

You just need a lamp assembly to be back on the road. A black donor car would make this a real easy fix. Those pesky deer!
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

Don't worry Cap'n, we'll just buff out those scratches.

    Sorry that happened to you.

Well, i found a few black regal gs's for less than $500 on craigslist. The body on the cars are good, they just have the usual coolant LIM/ Lost 4th issues. When a middle aged woman hit my gtp last year they cut me a check for 2300 and the damage was a lot lighter than the regal. Who knows, i may be able to fix the car AND have a little fun with it.

In South Carolina if it's totaled they give you a Salvage Title that lets potential buyers know it has been in an accident and the car may not be safe to drive and after the car is fixed it's given a rebuilt title that some insurance companies refuse to insure. I hope that's not the case in your state. I wouldn't bother with the insurance company
