I'll go for it! Plan to swap clusters with the 40th's when the miles line up a little past 135. Needles look newer in that one and its easy to remember +100K.
You could just switch needles and retain the original cluster. :P

That wouldn't shave off 100,000 miles.
Lol, true.

Got some more quick phone pics of Grape today. Washed it Friday but theres a green pollen fuzz on it. Heres a walkaround.

Hey wow thanks brethren somehow I missed those comments. Preeesh! :)
She is pretty rough up close but looks great from enough feet away and with heavy enough clouds lol :th_sign-pontiacs:
So the GTP gas gauge quit working a couple days ago. Replaced fuel pump earlier this year with standard parts store fodder (Precision from OReilly I think), so it will warranty but...
Is there a quick way to confirm thats the trouble. All I'd know to do as far as troubleshooting would be to wiggle wires and watch gauge. I do have the old pump but both pump and sender are bad on it.
99% chance the issue now is my cheap FP, right?
Yeah the sending unit probably took a poo on ya. and the old wiggle doesn't work on these cars as I believe these cars have baffles in the tank. (I'm unsure cause I haven't had to do one yet)
Also, I try to always buy the best FP's the parts store has, I only wanna do it once haha
Didn't notice any baffles near the center. Already did it twice because the new seal's quality is un-usably poor. That is common, so I learned. I meant wiggle wires at the connector on top. My boss gave me the fuel pump so there was no selection process. I'll just do a warranty exchange and hope it's actually bad.
People wonder why theres no passenger seat in my GTP. Because yesterday I easily tossed a new push mower in box in the passenger door and shut it, thats why.
so your gp is a mini truck
I've wished a few times I didn't have a passenger seat... But, I have up to six people in my car at times - so not really feasable, lol. I did fit a 6th gen bumper with all the seats folded down though.

It is a Pontiac truck. I prefer business coupe lol. I bet you remember those Eric. It wouldn't be the same with a sedan but it is only a 5 minute deal to R&I the seat.
Heres a 36 Pontiac business coupe. The spare tire stands up behind the passenger seat and theres like a little bookshelf behind the driver... then its ALL trunk, probably with an almost flat floor. Thats a lotta space. Ideas.

Oh and on the fuel pump deal, I spaced the gas transaction. Got distracted and didn't get gas... so I made the week on nothing. Wow. Pulled the pump today and it was full of gas but the tank was bone dry. Wrong on so many levels that I just am trying to forget I forgot to get gas. No wonder I didn't get a reciept. Wasn't high, I just lack mental focus on things outside the shop sometimes when I'm beat. Anyway I cleaned up the pump and put it back, dumped lawnmower gas in, went to store. Pfft.
Also on the GTP, I thought I had gotten rid of the left rear low speed squeal but nope. Thats probably gonna need a hub so the wheel will hold still and not rub the park brake. Yippee! It really needs all four.
I may be kinda slow but my GTP is badass! :th_sign-pontiacs:

I always like the look of a debaged GP :)
