you dont need wifi to scan your car lol
Well let me get past Christmas and see where I'm at. If I could wad up this year and toss it right now I would.
Just now somebody ran my co worker with the Stang into a curb so that might mean a couple free Bullitts :). Poor car might have got more messed up than we think right now though. Just glad our dude is OK. Hate to see any of our cars on a flatbed :( Been there too much!
think he wants to be on gpf when he is in the bathroom... but the router i have is free. also if you go to a yard sell you can pick up one for under $5. you would be suprised how much money you can save with yard sales. we bought a 91 camaro z28 with all the options on it but wasnt a 1LE for $400. and now it runs and drives
I bought an Apple Macbook Air for $15 at a yard sale, currently it is for sale for parts on eBay.
I haven't researched routers yet and not just any will do but can you get it here by christmas? Ha. I would like to access web around the house, garage and bathroom included (anybody remember "Flash before you flush"?). Sucks being tethered to the PC at home and having GPF addiction.
Got recall notices for my black junks today. Belly laugh. But I'm sitting here now thinking Pontiac can't be "dead", these return addresses are clearly printed with "Pontiac" at the top.
Milestones...
Today, the GTP passed 225,000 miles. Goin strong. Driving around with the scan tool on a lot, just observing in pursuit of knowledge.
Last weekend, passed the 18,000 mark on the 69GP. Which is meaningless as a landmark but its not often I get the 3 zeros.

Yep thats cardboard over the ABS light (one wheel unplugged on purpose) and fuse pulled on the SIR. Safer for me.

That situation is improving. All I had to do was wait for a particular day to pass and it was slow as Christmas getting here, ha.
Got all wi-fired up at home and with a Gigaset tablet now, I'm a step closer to poking around on the GTP's computer. Its down to an app and adapter now. I gotta check out the manual on it's audio head unit again, too. Its a

... but I ain't adding any relays ha ha.
I had the GT out in some flash flooding today. What a champion. Before all that, I had the GTP on the interstate yesterday and was getting passed the whole time so I picked my spot and let her eat once real good when it was clear. Smooth sailing. Might be able to come up with a couple tires for the loud one sooner than I thought. I'll probably put a different size on it, like 245/60s in front. I could then put the current 255 fronts out back and lose the 275s. Its a trade off in looks but sure is faster that way.
well i though i would share this with ya its a 2 part clear in a can and it looks good and wet too lol

that place is in your state too luck bastard
Cool. 2K aerosol clear makes a lot of sense in many cases, I should try some and be a bastage. BTW that town is pronounced "Mount Nome" in the local dialect lol. GTP rear bumper top needs more clear on it. Poor thing is overdue for an oil change as we speak but its been just doing time in the garage for about 3 days now.
Having this tablet rocks, now I can watch Rawhide from the crapper or wherever. It blows me away how invasive ads have become on the web. The new device welcomes them in, but I'm waiting behind the door to blow them away. Navigation is a pisser offer though, at least for me at first. Then there's steering in games, what a joke!
Found a busy forum that suits my line of work, but man is it ad-heavy. I mean wow! Seems like the usual primadonna vs noob drill. I'll say this about car guys who are old... they seem to go through a real bitter personality phase in their early 60s. Regardless of age, there's such thing as cool and not cool.
i even found a 2 part primer in a can as well its a urethane primer and they claim it self levels im not to sure on that part but its cool to know if you have a small job that you want to have shop level supplies then they are out there now
It definitely brings spot repairs on cheap cars into the shade tree realm but a guy has to keep in mind that the paint's performance is still a matter of brand and quality. Some paint stores can actually fill their own 2K aerosols which means even the best stuff could be used that way if a need arises.
Scotty if you want to come to this thread and talk about old cars for a page, be welcomed. Did you see the Riviera I posted awhile back?
Changed GTP oil today. Yep I should be taken out back and shot through the head... went 5K. Little glitter on plug magnet maybe.
lol nah, ill spare your thread of that nonsense lol
scott you know you want too lol
Come on now, surely u can muster a wisecrack about oil change intervals... Free shot, man. Just one lol.
I put up a new more tasteful and re-sized forum sig just now!
Nice list of cars. Terrible luck though it seems.
