That's how I got the l26 - damaged in shipping to the dealership. I didn't think of asking Ed as I thought he was "out of the game" now.
but I couldn't find any l67/l32 with less then 100k for less then what I paid for the brand new l26

    It cost money

The cover is coming off soon. Was 68* today. Should be 34* by Friday. Hopefully this crap stops and I can finish where I left off.
Mileage when it was stored I think was 2,100. So since its sitting might as well drop the oil before starting it up.
    finish some tuning.
Find out if it's going for some more paint work or not.

i need a new ebrake cable. Too much fun last year and I broke it

If you look up lucernes etc with the L26 in them.. you can often score them cheap still. In one week I picked up a 29K and a 50K, each $300 from a local yard that pulled and shelved them.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    Little update.
Testing my shift points. Yes I'm on E but I drove another 40 miles and filled 13.2 gallons shut off. Weird.
Only thing that sucked about being on E is my video captured "LOW" and not my boost. Boost is also on the top Aeroforce as well. Fml

so from a roll to avoid blowing off the tires , did a pull. The IS3 cam feels like it would continue to make power past the shift point but scares me to shift higher then 6500. 130# springs , stage 3 heads etc etc
been using Vimeo with ridiculous threat titles lmao

i want to know how your only shifting at 90 mph? i was shifting at 97 mph with a shift point of 5800 rpm.

unless you didnt have it floored, then it will short shift to the bins mph shift.

Well... would my gear ratios matter? 3.29s
and I did *****-foot it. I know. It's not like my other cars that I can press the pedal through the floorboard just to pass traffic and not worry about a catastrophe

we got the same tranny. seems odd tho.

im now shifting at 90 mph with the shift point set to 5450 iirc. i lowered the shifts cause i think it was slowing me down in the 1/4 mile. wasted time spinning to rpm's with no power for me. aka stock cam lameness lol

God no. Omg no. We can make another thread about my transmission builds and destructions

    here is a brief description
first trans was stock rebuild when I bought it
input shaft broke on a downshift with s1x cam
had it built by tim king with 3.29s , shift kit, valve body goodies, 7/8th chain "300m" input shaft
    converter seal blew out
    took it a local shop
they stole my 300 insult shaft as I snapped another input shaft about 2 months later
    took it back complained. Loss

soo much drama and money wasted
built it myself last time around. Still going !
