Grab a spare motor. Build it over time. Then plan a weekend for the swap

I've thought about a spare motor but never jumped on it. Spare 3800s now of days go for about 300-500$ or should i just get a new short block?

I got my motor brand new from Stricker Auto Parts in Batavia OH. They had more last I looked in September as another guy picked one up with less then 10 miles on it as well.

Too bad that one was a L26. It'll be fine for your sc setup but id want a L32 or L67 for a turbo setup. Do they have any L32 or L67s?

BTW that black and red setup sure looks good and I don't even like red OR intercoolers but since your using E85 I think ill let it slide.

Unless I see a crusty tube sock in your engine bay, this thread is not worth my time.

damn no kidding. I like your choice. Texas is da shît.
The best part is, I screwed up. I started negations thinking it was Batavia NY not OH. It was worth it shipping surprisingly wasn't a killer.
