Well haven't updated in a looooonnng time.. Just this past week picked up a set of spo grilles and spo spoiler (already black didn't like the plasti dipped one) complete set of 40th anniversary wheels and tires for 150 off cl, and new pioneers in back.. Kinda blew out my old ones.. Also, fixed tranny problem.. Wasn't tranny.. Noticed wheel bearings were bad when checking stuff over so replaced and she drives just like a champ now!

Okay big plans. And bad news.. Last Wednesday I wrecked her. fell asleep coming home from work one morning and sideswiped a semi trailer.. messed up the drivers side fairly well.. im fine was just scared shatless.. but anyways on to big things.. while I get her back on the road im going to be doing some things.. so for that I also have some questions.. I plan on making a set of retrofits.. I ordered the projectors, H1 morimotos, with the whole setup.. my question for that is what else do I need? ive read the how to thread and it says nothing on there about plugs.. im sure they are different correct? and also, I plan on doing a HUD. with that my question is, is all I need the unit, switch and wiring harness or is there more? also read the thread for that.. also possible speed daddy headers and for sure a tune. Thanks for the advice and ill try to get updated pics on soon here.. finally got my own laptop so I can do whatever I want with it

    Nitto snow tires or generals.

They are normally cheaper than blizzaks and firestones and do just as good.

Problem. Going to school this morning i went to go pass another driver. got about half way and it pretty much went into limp mode. DIC said service traction control system and reduced engine power.. limped it back home and havent had time to look at it since i was late for school. Any ideas as to what happened?

Could also be a bad throttle body, I've seen that cause a reduced engine power setting...since the TPS is built into it. Have you ever cleaned the TB? If not...110~k will mean it's nasty AF.

Have you ever done a pan drop or trans filter change? If not...I'd do both of those...and clean the MAF sensor. See if that helps. That's like $80~ vs. a new trans. And if it fixes it, then cool. If not, at least you tried.

How are your mounts? Do you have a lot of movement engine wise? I ask because I've gotten reduced engine power when I broke a vacuum line. If you got on it hard and you have bad mounts you could have either jarred something loose or broke a vacuum line.

The traction systems on the 04+ cars are janky. I've gotten the service traction system/abs lights for some burned up wires. Also a few other times after I fixed that I've got it for some crazy reason. They could be related, but reduced power is normally a tb/vacuum/you jacked up your ride deal.

    Are the mounts new though?

And I'm sure were talking about more than the dog bone mounts. Lower trans and motor mount. They're fluid filled from the factory and are super crapasstastic
