I would probably maintain it. Keep it rust free. Add an intake and be done. It looks like a clean truck. My uncle wanted to give me a 4 cyl one 2wd 5 speed. I just couldn't fit well in it. If I still had it. I wanted to throw a 302 in it

It will stay mostly stock, just some goodies to make it less "bare" when driving it. Goal is no more than $500-750 into this thing (excluding tires/wheels and maintenance items)

Washed my whips today, here is some pictures.

and the saab has had a few things done it....nothing major, but the 6-7 big boxes of parts downstairs say different (coming in September).

I like the ride height of the truck, I won't ever lower it. I plan to crank the T-Bars up 2" and put 32s on it, so I will go up ~3" total

So this weekend I changed out the front and rear differential fluids, the transmission fluid and filter, and the transfer case fluid; I did the airbox mod (removes silencer and allows more air in), I just have to do the serpentine belt when I get a chance. I have also installed Infinity Kappa 682.9cf speakers all around the truck, what a huge improvement! Also picked up a X930BT headunit for the Saab so my old F700BT will be making it into the truck in a few weeks. Coming in this week is a bull bar, nerf bars, and bed rail bars; the truck will also be getting window tint next weekend.

Aside from what the maintenance items, I got started on the headlights.

and then I had a beer.

Updates on the Saab coming very very very soon.

    Projector retrofit done
    Window tint 35% done

I got the nerf bars Friday, but the rear brackets don't line up to anything, not sure how it is different, but it appears there are two different brackets out there for the rears to work.

LED tail lights, Bed bars and grille are on order and I'll be heavily detailing this truck next weekend. X930bt was sent back, touch screen wasn't responding. I think I'll go x940bt instead in the future, but for now the F700 will stay in the Saab; I'm hunting for a Kenwood ddx470 or the next step up and score Navigation.

I like the lights. Initially I was going to do the X-lens D2S 3.0 but went with the O-lens.
What did you pop in for bulbs and ballasts? And what do you think of the D2Ss?
I had some incredible bad luck with the 5fives....3 out of 4 fizzled, in 3 months. Went with the Densos

I threw in the XB35 bulbs meant for 55w ballasts, but in my random box of ****...I had more 35w ballasts of some random brand, stamped 2007 LOL so that is whats in there. I love the D2s's, a little deeper with the socket on there and bigger hole to deal with but when I did the H1's on the Panda I didn't care for them too much, eh...they are really both about the same. I probably would have had an easier retrofit with the H1s on the truck, it is all a very tight fit with the D2s's. In the end, there is no flashy LEDs or any of that crap...just function. Kept this as cheap as possible, which ran me about $270.

Next up is to put in some Bilstein HD shocks and crank the T-bars. Looking for wheels I am thinking about getting these:

Tuff Racing 16x8 +10 offset and put some 265/75/16s or 285/75/16s on it. I like the latter of the two.
