why the hell do people decide to spend money on such a terrible port design as the supercharged lower intake. Damn thing sucks compared to the nearly straight shot offered by the n.a. fwd/rwd intakes.

    looks good though

Its cheaper for him just to fab UIM on to what he already had.

The thing sounds like a jet going down the track. Keep it up and send me a turbo kit

Don't know how bad the airflow is, but with the weight of the car and lower boost than the Red GTP parts car, I'm happy with the performance.
The LIM has been heavily modified to increase airflow. An untouched LIM would flow really poorly for sure.

The intake currently is built as a very short ports with a big feeding tank. It's works well as a forced induction manifold.

If a few guys wanted turbo kits we could do a limited run. Of course if we decide to do this we'd have to be vendors on the site.
The larger the run of course, the cheaper it could be.

But stuff like this is expensive. Kits you guys typically buy from ZZP were originally large production runs and they surely have jibs setup to make a lot of them.
The exhaust system and kits we make for other applications are on jigs and we even have jigs to cut the parts. We can duplicate quickly and perfectly and there is a lot less fab time.

What would you guys want. complete hot side piping, exhaust and turbo plus custom intake ?

You could make a kit a with just a crossover, down pipe and intercooler piping.

Those were by far the most difficult to fit. A full 3" is a tight squeeze as well as the intercooler piping when going to the passenger side.
I wanted 3" pipe size so the airflow would be straight going into the MAF. It worked but it's a tight squeeze. Replicating would have to be done on the car.
A jig would be complex for that shape pipe.

All in all it can be done but we'd have to see how fast we can duplicate the kit.

Now running 18 psi of boost, 94 pump and methanol injection. Pretty thrilling and I get to enjoy it everyday.
Awesome set up ! Wouldn't change the turbo for anything smaller or bigger. Perfect streetability and instant boost when you need it. Enough top end to smoke 2nd gear to 140 km/h on sticky tires.
Plenty for street use and FWD.

Very impressive. Bet that's one hell of a DD man

I've always wanted an 06 or 07 SE, my dad lives behind a dealership and I remember seeing about 6-8 SE's on the front row back in the day.

Down low I see an AEM air/fuel wideband gauge, and an Aeroforce, and up top looks like an AEM boost gauge.

Top is AEM tru boost which is both a boost controller ( 3 stage of boost) and also a boost gauge.

I will be putting the aeroforce gauge in that location soon so I can have a warning if there is a methanol system failure.
I set it up so at 2 deg of KR it lights up red. Down low it's hard to see.
At the moment I never ever seen any KR but if my methanol system runs dry or fails to inject my margin of error is more slim at 18 psi of boost + on pump gas. it's nice to have the warning in your face.
