So my old man had picked up a new '11 V6 Stang back about four~ years ago new...

    Traded it for this...

A 2000 Pewter Metallic Camaro SS, 19,8xx original miles. One owner...never seen rain or snow...hell this car even had the original tires, hoses, and original belt on it as well. All that has been addressed, it's been tinted, installed new bulbs all around on it...tossed in some HID's, put a rear inlay on it, which doesn't reflect in the pictures...and it's got an SLP intake kit on the way. Furthermore, here's the BS pics I got right after it was tinted.

Nice pick up. Mines an 02 SS with 14K miles on it.

He should get and SLP grille. Also emblem pros makes nice stainless letters for the rear fill ins.

Nice, Guz! Guess the GP is the ol' beater now eh?

I don't think he has the issue of skip shifts, though. I drove it as well and it didn't try to make you skip 2nd or 3rd or whatever.

I ended up getting him the three slit grille that says Camaro instead of the front plate filler, and a reflective black inlay from Reflective Concepts for the back.

I like that SS grille better tho, lol.

Nice car. Looks like a blackwing lid, but I canr see clearly. I have a SSL if he wants to keep it stockish. However, either you guys have been keeping the rpm up or it's been tuned and disabled.

Thanks. The GP's been a daily driver for 15 years. Not necessarily a beater because I like to make it look good as well. I'm a car guy and like to have them looking good. I bought the Camaro because I am a fan of the 4th gen f-bodies and I could not let this one pass seeing as it was one owner who was a collector that passed away. Had 3K miles when I bought it a few years ago. The SLP SS grille is my favorite one of them all.

I like the chrome ZR1's on this color. Been looking to pick up a set of them for my dad's 02 Z28. My dad's has the SLP bowtie grille which is the other one I like.

Fantastic pick up and excellant platform. I'll take a catfish over a pony any day. Everyone knows anything LS based was handcrafted by God while he shat out Mustangs.

Skip shift is really annoying, never understood what would cause it to work or not work. I like the camaro even tho I think the firebirds look better.
