Replacement V8 spec chain or 7/8?
I'm hearing single chain 7/8" is actually pretty good compared to the dualz
thats in mine greg says 7/8s stretch... v8 spec doesnt stretch but break instead....
imo ill stick with 7/8s cheap under 100 bucks and stretched chain = limp it home. broke = tow it.............
thats highly debatable and for a car that not going to be a dig car for what nick is doing the 7/8s i bet will be just fine at a fraction of the price....... hell for my setup id be happy if a 7/8s last one season. at that rate ill just keep putting em in.
It'll get a 7/8's chain.
It's also not going to be driven THAT much. My commute to work has gone back down to just a couple miles, and I had a 7/8th chain in the blue car. And I beat the sh1t out of it. And I never had any issues.
3.69 and 7/8" will be stretch city.......don't believe me call up Dave at TEP and ask him.
I have 3.91 in 1" GMR setup.........

Might have missed the chain, honestly.
I never listen.
But still, I trust his know how. I don't have problem having him build something and standing behind it.
Well, install projected for next weekend if all goes as planned.
Got an LS6 intake going on too.
Yay, fun time. Hopefully that'll help the car quite a bit.
Just got a little bit of research for the LS6 swap. Seems like there is a little hacking involved, lol.
