finally gave it a good bath. I did not vacuum it. may still go do that. running out of motivation. I am ready for some cold beer! its pretty hot outside! us yankees are melting! lol...

anyway. here are a few pics of it clean.

BUT, more importantly is the TERRIBLE job the previous owner did on the gauge pod. it drives me nuts every time I sit in it. I am gonna order a ZZP sometime this week. THEN, I need to upgrade the gauges to. they dont even all match!?

Next will be headers. It has a 3.4 on it and down pipe and 2.5 "cat back" (there is no cat). Then a tune. Then I should be able to run WOT. I am babying now. if I see it start boosting I back off.

This is my summer ride. my current plans are to drive it this summer hopefully with headers and tune in the next few weeks. This winter do a restore. the strut towers are clean with no rust. The rockers are pretty clean but are starting to bubble. (new rockers). you can see a few places the paint is flaking off (not rust) just flaking paint. My dad is a body guy and his buddy is a painter. So while its snowing this winter I would like to beautify her again, and make the outside flawless. Then once it melts hopefully get a few good track times and start enjoying a nice summer ride.

    anyway, enjoy.

I see what you mean on the pillar pod. That would bother the hell out of me everytime I sat down to drive it as well. Car looks good overall from the pics. The headlights and grills really set off the front end. Any plans for tint? Would really help to bring the car together! What wheels are you running?

yes, tint will also be in the near future. I like the look of the headlights, but THEY SUCK! They dont mount to the car right, and they are pretty much cross eyed at night and I cant see crap. and the brights are worse!!! Not sure what to do about them. is there a "right way" to install them? or adjust them (I see no adjustments). I was thinking about going back to OEM headlight assembly's and getting covers, but I dont think it will look as good with the grill inserts.

I do love the grill inserts to!

as for the rims they are

Very nice car! I really like the limited edition GPs. Some people don't like the look of the spoiler but it's different and I like it. If one ever goes up for sale near me and it's decent I'll probably grab it. And I say ditch those headlights and try a retro but that's just my opinion.

I'm interested in trading my factory torque stars for your black 18's.
00' GTP- CAI, HID's and a u-bend delete is all I have done so far, but I am just getting started.
