pft, I dropped mine in alone in a driveway in 32° weather!
speedy recovery, lets cut that time in 1/2 and get back home already. poor kids been laid up long enough.
my mom did 3 months worth of hospital and rehab, it seemed like the daily visits would never end. when she was in the icu i was there 3 times a day, as well as the stroke ward, then 2 times a day at the first rehab, then i got her down to once a day cause the second rehab kept her pretty busy.
Lol. I pulled it by myself. Difference now is I have the new headers attached and a limited amount of room to work with in the garage. The engine lift I'm using doesn't have swivel wheels on its drop down legs so when I have to swing that over it will require some brute force tugging. I just need someone to stabilize the engine which my wife prob could help me with but she will be at the hosp. with the boy until he is released so that option is out...I have patience, I will have to wait.
Yikes, 3 months is rough. My boy had a bladder augmentation back in April that was done by his main doc at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. That was a month long stay out there. 2 weeks in the hospital, 2 weeks out for monitoring. Wife stayed out there the whole time and I went back and forth from Milwaukee 3 times, one time driving straight through, staying 3 days, 2 nights and then driving straight through back.
Just call a 10-24 or something like that and when back up shows up at your house you have someone help you install the motor.
Hoping your boy has a speedy recovery!
I posted in an "intake discussion" but I guess I'll ask it here too. I have the parts to set up a FWI to this new supercharged engine. I bought a piece of 3" PVC for the tubing. My question is: Is there any research or solid experience to differentiate which is better on an SC engine, 3" or 4" tubing? Thanks in advance for any info/advice.
Well, for those following...I'm now in the hospital with my younger daughter, so two kids in the same hospital. My ex wife had her weekend placement and I guess my daughter developed pneumonia. So I'm staying the night with my daughter on one floor and my current wife is with our son on another...good times.
I've been looking through some threads discussing spark plugs and I have to say, the more I read, the more confused I get. So correct me if I am way off here. I am running headers, downpipe and ubend delete, intake, and pcm to be slightly tuned, nothing major. I also ported the sc a little bit. I will be running the stock sc pulley to start but hope to drop a little bit, (due to only small mods) somethime in the future. So with that being said...should I go one heat range cooler (I believe it is) with something like an Autolite 605? Thanks in advance for the input. I admit upfront I'm not much of a "gearhead" forgive the term. But when you start getting into technical combinations of mods, heat ranges, pulley sizes, knock retard on and on...my head starts to spin. I try to keep up and educate myself on here but sometimes I just get lost and need to ask for clarification. Thanks again.
Convince them to throw red and blues on the GP and to cut you a check to make it handle better lol.
