the regular CTS headlights aren't HID projectors, so unless the car has 6 lug hubs then it's fairly useless to me. otherwise i don't really need anything else.

i don't think i'll be able to get myself to slam this car. it's too nice and the wrong style car for it.

it'll only happen when i bag it sometime down the line...

i have a BNIB set of their (CS) red poly motor mounts. they said they would trade them out at no cost for a set of the black ones and recommend me to do that for a daily driver. so i am going to do that, and buy a trans mount at the same time. i'm going to pass on the UMI motor mounts until i actually need a pretty solid mounting solution...

i would love to buy the bushings for the rear end, but it takes special tools to do it. therefore i'll wait until i can plan it out and rent their tools at the same time. the rear end bushings will clean up the majority of the wheel hop in the car, which right now is completely terrible.

it's one of the only upgrades, too. g-force makes a ford 9" upgrade, but it requires modifying the sub frame...nah.

this one is bolt in and go.

So the rear end blows out of those easily? Or just on slicks? Heard of welding the axle tubes to keep the axles from spinning out on drag radials? Maybe a cheaper option.

I know my rear end isn't built for drag racing. The torsen diff likes to grenade if you beat it with slicks

the wheel hop kills them and the diff case explodes.

however, the fourth gen diff (which is what i have in my car) seems to be pretty resilient so long as you don't habitually terrorize it.

Don't know about your car, but for mine a good set of upper control arms and mounts with lower control arms kill my wheel hop

upper control arms in the rear? and aftermarket lower control arms don't exist.

it's the mushy, rubber bushings that allow the rear end to get all wobbly and try to drive over itself.

Damn that sucks. Mustangs (s197 chassis) have a 3 link setup in the rear. Upper control arms lower control arms and panhard bar.

Why is there no aftermarket support for the suspension??

because there's not enough of them on the road to make it worth buying parts.

Just go to a machine shop and have some delrin or uhmw mounts made and pop them in. Install some grease zerks on the control arm bores while its out. Problem solved.
