remove the castel nut and cotter pin, if you have a floor jack with a long handle, take it off slide it in the middle of the lca from the top, then under the sub frame, then you stand on the bar and have someone hit the lca. it will pop free.

no long jack handle? try a 2x4 or other long pole you may have on hand.

Holy crap that was a mess of words haha. But I tore into my radio to try and find the reason why my fm radio single sucks. I thought i fixed it but when I drove out of my garage it went to crap so I spent a good 2 hours doing nothing.

buy a cheap 10 dollar antenna, pull the radio out unplug the factory antenna and plug in the new one. leave the wires all hooked up and see if it works better or not.

if it does work better you can stuff it under the dash most of the time. or get one of them inside the trunk antennas.

Yea that's my next step is to hunt down a cheap antenna and see if that helps... It has to be a bad antenna becuase like I said when I unplugged and it went total static and when I plugged it back in it worked.

I wish I could get Sirius russ. I love Sirius xm at home on our TV. I'm addicted to alt nation. My kenwood was made for Apple and has Pandora/Sirius but I can't use it. I'm a die hard android fan so that kinda sucks. I just use the aux cord. The sound quality isn't the best but it works.

Also while I was taking apart everything I decided to look into my climate control becuase I noticed some dark spots. And sure enough two bulbs are dead... Considering mabye just going to the bone yard to get a new one since my buttons on the front are really faded as well

If you go to the junk yard for knobs...G6s have knobs that will fit with a little modification I believe, and they have chrome accents. Just a little something to dress it up better. Food for thought.

Yes yes... I am alive. I've just been busy with basketball and it's way way way to cold to even touch my car. Air temp of - 14 last night haha. It's probably the dirtiest it's ever been and I can't do anything about it. We had some horrible blowing snow so we had some pretty good drifts on the back roads. I love going drift busting in this thing. It's a beast in the snow. Radio reception still sucks. Also one of my fog lights stop working... Sometimes. It has a mind of its own when it wants to work and when it doesn't.
