Dorman brand. I'd take $60 shipped for both or if you just want one I'll do $30. I can ship out tomorrow and you should have them by friday then.

Let me talk to my brother. He is taking it to his shop to get it out of the elements. That sounds like a damn good deal to me. No yards in Indy even have any Gen5's for me to salvage and Autozone is ridiculous on the price. I was just going to have to hit up RockAuto like Snowflake said.

I did work on a kids cutlass a while back and he ended up not needing them and then rolled it about 3 weeks later and told me to keep them and get whatever i could out of them since it was to long from when i ordered them to when i did the work on his car.

I will probably just end up taking both. I am going to replace the driver side rods too. So might as well do the lca on the side too. That shiz was scary! My luck it will happen again, so might as well be proactive.

Thank you Dsmuts (and my mother-in-law)! My early Christmas present was the new LCA Dsmuts has. I will be driving my baby, dent and all again by the end of this weekend!

And I am doing all of this to my car because it is going to be my daughter's first car. In 2023 when she gets her license, she will be rolling a fresh 96 GTP and the kids will be jealous...unless cars fly by then, then they will probably laugh at her.

People's taste in cars change as people do, Daily. I don't think any one is going to miss certain cars from '96 but this is going to be rare to see even in the next 5 years, let alone 10. the cars fore-mentioned were 27 years old now, just as a reference. those cars were not the fan favorites without the knowledge that we know now, but now every gear head respects them. As I believe we will respect a pre-gen gtp in ten years.

Likely the V6 3.4L will be one of the biggest gas guzzlers on the road. Wouldn't that be funny for us V8 people?
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I work about 20 miles from my house. In my V8, 20 dollars in gas lasts two days (premium), when I take my 3.4, $20 (reg) lasts all week.

I had to move on, couldn't deal with something so rusted out. Plus more superchargers.

Watch that timing belt on the 3.4l. That's the biggest killers of those. I love mine it's a great engine.

I think the point he was making is that the way vehicles are trending now-a-days we won't see too many guzzlers around in ten years
