Looks great, don't worry about pic quality, it's how you use the camera and take shots. 3/4 of the pics on my thread are cell phone pics LOL.

    Get some reflective gold inlays

    Good combo

    Gold inlays!!! now thats funny
I actually ordered my reflective black after you did the gold, cuz it made me remember I wanted it.
Maybe I'll use my Sis's 16mega pixel to get some better pics. They look alright on the phone but get washed out after transferring them.

35% tint and never had an issue in the 6 years I've had it.
I just went to the store and walking out seeing it in the parking lot, it looked like I didn't even have tint.
I was explaining to my daughter on the ride home about the tint and how I should have done 20. Oh well

Very clean GP. I dont see a lot of GP's as clean as yours. Especially up here in the midwest. Is it stored during the salty-winter months? Keep up the good work.

    Thanks man!
I stored it this past winter because no worky. But usually if it hits the salt, it gets a bath....including the bottom.
I try to come up with creative excuses not to drive in the slush.

Well, your car is very clean. Especially for a car that is driven in the snow/salt. Not to mention its black, which is one of the hardest color to keep clean and scratch/mark free (in my opinion). Its good to see such a clean midwest car that is usually driven year round. Keep up the good work.

Yeah the wheels....If it wasn't for the huge fail on the lame chrome, I'ld probably just rock the stock for good.
I would like to make the right choice on wheels, since I can't afford a new set every time I get tired of em.
Been thinking for years about it, but as it stands now I would do 19s...eventually. Maybe even black, just so I can touch-up the paint.
I really dig the chrome with the black, it gives the black just enough contrast and bling.
For now, as long as they hold air, the torque stars will suffice. If only they would quit shedding.

OK Mike.....got one for ya, I know you'll love it.

This is what happens when you go to the self serve wash, and you get water spotsicles by the time you get home.
I was burnt out and didn't feel like waiting for the torpedo to heat the garage from 20 to 32+ degrees and do a rinseless
My plan was to park in the sun the next day and let them melt, then do a rinseless when I got home.
I really was keeping my fingers crossed that they had some sort of miracle water at the wash...lol.
I feared spots but said F it.
Well that is exactly what I did.......and that was the wrong way.

I did a rinseless the next day, while eyeballing my new mineral craters.
When I finished up I freaked. They do come out easily with some Menzerna SF4500 on a few test spots.
Now I am really waiting for spring more than ever so I can use my new Flex3401. I tried it out on the washer and dryer tops. It is one fine machine!!

and another for the timeline, what salt looks like on Turtle Wax Black Endura shine after 2 months.
clean pics this weekend.....if I can find this thread

So the flex is a pretty good polisher? I've been eyeballing those for a couple of years but just haven't gotten serious about buying one yet. Maybe this spring. Where did you buy yours? And how much did you pay?

I bought it from AutoGeek for $359. They really never go on sale.
The Lake Country interchangeable backing plate system and some hybrid pads, were bought at the same time.
I haven't used it on the car yet, but did try it on the washer and dryer tops with a white hybrid and some M205
That was my test panel and learning process.
The tops are flat(of course) with the built up ridge which made it ideal for practicing technique on sharp and gradual edges.
If you have run a DA before, the Flex should be pretty easy to get a hold on. It does have the forced rotation that will keep me on my toes, around edges.
The last thing I need is rotating thru the clear coat.

I can see this as being added to my lifetime best purchase list.

Have you been keeping up on the Meguiars MT300 Dual Action? The Guz just bought one but I am not sure if it shipped yet

I have to get one! I used to detail cars at a car lot and used a old snap on buffer so I'm curious to see how much easier this is to use. I'm about to put some money into the silver car so hopefully after that I can get one. Thanks Spazz
