I wasn't a fan of auto lights really.
When i get to work like in the winter I'll leave my car running to keep me warm till the doors open up which is usually like 20-30min. I'll recline back and sleep. I hated having mess with the ebrake to shut my lights off. And when i started it at night with the headlights kicking on while cranking.
I have the fixed worked out for that second one, but the first there isn't much I can do, lol. I've also though about rerouting the circuit to turn them on when the car is put into gear, but meh.
Also i forgot i re-enabled my headlight flash while locking but because i have the one connector unplugged to disable my auto lights it just chirps the horn so thats a win in my book. I missed knowing my car locked lol
Since I've disabled my auto lights I've found more reasons I didn't like them lol. At least newer gm cars had a momentary position on the headlight switch to turn them off in park, much better. Still like being able to get in my car and turn it to run and not have them come on. I see it as, turning them on manually is easier than always pushing the e brake when I don't want them on. Plus they come on when I drive under trees for a few in the evenings, and turn back off as I turn onto a main road... And for some reason its more sensitive when you first turn the key on than after a few minutes. So they will come on with key on, and turn off a minute later. Same lighting conditions.
On top of stock? Right now I'm at 11 or so. If you want to include the one touch modules (which have relays in them), it's 8 more. Connecting the windows to the alarm will be another 11 or 12, lol.
Meh, not much going on. Still more leaky axle but not near as bad, when i feel game im getting a low mileage cover, and axle and swapping them along with putting my new lower mounts on.
Gonna try a thing this weekend and I hope it works out well. My upper mounts are all toast, the round ones have like an inch of play and the squares and ripping from being flipped. When I watched a guy hold the brake and give the car gas I noticed when the bushing is flipped it stops side to side motion but you still get an up and forward motion which was causing the mount to rip. Gonna try to flill it with poly construction adhesive see if it makes any difference.
Try the windshield urethane I hear that works pretty good.
I'll take it to you for that lol
You gotta set it on the rockers though, or the frame rail if a jack stand would even like that. I've been using 2x4s in between lately lol
For the mount? I was gonna put a 2x6 across the oil pan and jack her up

Oh now i get what your sayin
Yeah because some say the sub frame has to be lowered. I've done it both ways before, not sure why
Trying out a thing this weekend, hopefully this works out good. If i can't find any used or new poly round bushings before Friday I'm buying some from zzp or intents whichever is cheaper.
