Don't be jelly![]()
So I had the day off because it was supposed to rain, I went up to our shop n grabbed a heat gun n a grinder with cutting blades. I ended up rolling my rear fenders and made the spacers for the trans mount. I'm still waiting on the engine mount in the mail, so once I get that, I'll finish the mounts for that n throw them all on.
So rolling fenders, not too hard at all. I just heated em up for a few minutes and jacked the car up a little n rolled with a rag on the end of a 2.5 pipe haha. I grabbed a rubber mallet from work n that just wasn't working too well, and I also couldn't find a wooden baseball bat. It's almost a 10 yr old car so I figured anyway will make the paint chip a little. Surprisingly very little and they're up pretty much as far as they can go. I haven't driven it yet, but there were marks in the tires from it hitting and I wanted to do it ASAP since the tires are near new. I didn't do the front because I have spacers on the rear, n that was why it was hitting, and no spacers on the fronts n I'm not having problems.
i also painted my rear calipers silver while I was at it. So finally all one color lol.
Also got this from reflective concepts, I think I'm going to just do the 3 stripes tho n not the top n bottom.
i have a couple more things in the works rn, hopefully they get done soon!
I went n took some pics with my nikon at the brickyard I go to for work the other day. Edited em with Lightroom, some turned out pretty nice so here they are.
