Updates? This intercooler better be done.
Whewww, still not done. I still need to reattach the front bumper n clean up stuff here and there. I want to remount me new ballasts with brackets n what not, zip tie the tubing a little, n just a little bunch of random stupid stuff.
So I showed up today, got the alternator n elbows attached, put the alternator on, set up the ic pump, n ran some hoses. We left at 12 to take a heater home and run to the auto store to get fittings for the fuel line. My zzp fuel logs had a connection that went straight up, no 90 and extension to fit into the fuel line. The fuel line was about 2-3 inches too short with stretching n bending it. Went to 3-4 different parts stores and were gone for 3 hours. Finally figured out a solution with barbed fittings pretty much. They leaked n we had to redo em again n got em sealed finally. Was an eventful day and frustrating. It's all done for the most part and running properly, just gotten tighten everything up n make it look pretty.
N heres a little video when I first got there today.

Haha yessir
Oh yeah!!! IC time.
Looks good! Should have gone with a resevoir though instead of that crappy fill tube lol
Woohoo all finished n running good so far!
N here's a nice video, idk what that loud ticking is. It's coming from a pulley I believe. I'll figure it out tomorrow.

According to your Aeroforce, you have a Vacuum leak since your LTFT's are stuck at 16.4. Something you might want too look into.
Good job on the install, looks pretty... besides one thing.
You have a great looking car, then you open the hood and see a nasty unpainted Gen V. That things needs to be cleaned and painted. You've come this far already.
Thanks bro, it will get painted sooner or later. Ik it would make it look so much better. I should just sprayed it crappy n fast at least. Oh well.
And as far as fuel trims go, I may have a small vacuum leak at the "t" fitting. And I didn't get the right sie cap for the nipple. I put electrical tape tho and the 90 cap back on it at least n should be fine. It was still sucking a tiny bit when I'd put my finger on it, like tiny bit. So hopefully the pcv setup is working properly. When I press on the tube from the front lim to the tb now it feels like there's pressure in it while running. Also, I pulled the oil cap off and there wasn't any sucking.
Fuel trims, I was chasing a fuel leak with my "mcguyvered" setup, loctite ended up doing the trick, and that's what zzp used to begin with so it should be fine. I'm going to keep checking it constantly though. Will my fuel trims get messed up from the leak and from being disconnected for that amount of time? And I was thinking it'd go back to normal. But whatever it is that doesn't seem right, lemme know since I want it to be fixed asap. In a day or 2 I'll take a video driving n looking at the guages and see what you guys think. I don't know too much when it comes to all that.
Your LTFTs will always stay at 16.4 no matter the size of the vacuum leak. I believe these cars can find a leak as small as .020" which is extremely small. Your car is changing its LTFTs to try and keep the STFTs around +/-0. Your car is using an excessive amount of fuel to compensate for the unmetered air entering the engine. It will not "fix" itself. As long as there is a leak some where, even the slightest bit, you trigger the 16.4 LTFT. You should definitely find that vacuum leak and fix it. Start where you believe it's coming from. If that doesn't work, start spraying carb/brake cleaner around vac lines and anything that is sealed. Either listen carefully for a change in engine speed or better yet, have someone watch your Aeroforce while you spray around the engine bay.
Alright dan, thanks for all that info. I'll try the t and see if that's it. If not I have plenty of brake cleaner. My vacuum raised 1.5 about also since the install. It was usually around 17.4, now it's about 18.5-.9.
Haha if these end up leaking, looks like it's an excuse to paint the supercharger.
Garlocks are called Garleaks for a reason.
I personally would never use them, I believe you have two options.
1: Felpro gasket(s)
2: Copper RTV only.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's your Garlock gaskets are causing the vacuum leak. Just keep that in mind.
