Headers are a love/hate. You'll love then once there in and leak free and you'll hate doing them. Not sure if I mentioned it before in the past but you'll need a o2 extension for the rear...you can easily make your own..that's what I did.
Squirrels are my engine. I need a Ford Regal

PB Blast the hell out of all bolts too....and if you don't have a socket set for stripped bolts, invest in one, lol....just know that 9/10 times the flex will eventually leak, if not right away....so an upgraded flex will eventually be needed, and at that point you might as well custom fab the downpipe because SD still keeps a u bend style....and if you don't get a box tune with the o2 code deleted, try the non fouler method for the time being....

Ill check to see if he has a socket set..you talking for the downpipe bolts or just all in general? I have a zzp flex to swap with and talked with a welding shop about the ubend being deleted n they want it on the car first for the right degree angle. I could have made the jig but since I dont weld it myself its too much of a hassle for me to take it to them n have em do it. So I said okay n ill bring it to them after. What do you mean about the o2? Shoukd I have them weld my cat back on too? Or just get rid of it, does it decrease mpg? Or just make the funky smell from exhaust lol

its not just any socket set....it's specifically for stripped nuts/bolts....and mine came in handy with the downpipe and the rear mani..,the headers are catless....so unless you tune to delete the code, you'll have a cel for the o2 and the car won't run as well as it should....a spark plug non fouler is a neat lil trick that throws off the pcm into believing the system is still functional....

Yeah when I said socket set, that's what I meant, sorry lol. N I was thinking to just have the welding shop put my cat back in? If it runs smoother n better mpg with it on I'd rather keep it. Did you get rid of your cat or put one back on? We don't have emissions testing here in MI, but if it helps to keep it, I'd rather do that.

catless only hurts when the cel for the o2 is not deleted....that and deleting EGR will decrease mpg by maybe 2-3...it would be better to just buy an aftermarket cat in my opinion, and custom fab...the cat doesn't really add/takeaway sound from the system...the resonator is what you'll be worried about if concerned with drone which won't be that bad....the headers themselves actually add a lil grunt to the exhaust sound via better airflow....but with no emissions, catless FTW
