Haha no I didn't man, I worked 50 hrs last week n forgot all about it. I also didn't get my damn $40 zzp flex welded on before hand lol. I just got back from the exhaust shop n got a new flange welded on, and asked about getting rid of the u bend n the new flex on. He said just wait till I tear this one up or till it ticks if it does. Also asked him about mufflers n he said they have the flow masters only, but the off brand since they're patents up. But I asked for boras n he didn't have em. So I think I'm going to buy some boras n they'll install em for $50 a piece..is that a decent price ya think?

Probably to a 2.55" correct?
:th_laugh-lol2:
Haha idk what size to do. I should have ordered a pcm a month ago from will so i could drop it in now. So looks like it'll be another month. N I was thinking a 3.6 cuz idk if a 3.5 would be too much..

Thanks man, couldn't have done it without my dad, prob could have but it would have taken a weekend lol. N they're the speed daddy's.
Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Headers Finally On!
Just got back from exhaust shop, they welded a new flange on for me n he sounds so much better than with the leak haha. Thinking about getting some borlas, I seen the turbo series or the xs power ones. I'm wondering which ones to get. The xs are like $100 a pop n the turbo series Are $200..so it's a big difference. Also I think I'd need 2.25 in n out? Just trying to make sure before I placed an order. Might be a few days tho. I'm gonna shop around. Also got my red n white interior LEDs n my reverse LEDs. So m going to tint the reverse bar soon, but ill put the lights in in a few.
Good ol u bend.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Headers Finally On!
Well here's the LEDs in, they're pretty bright n pure white. They look good and better in person lol. Pictures don't show too well. Pretty annoyed about my check engine lights. I have the p0137 n another code popped up, p2101. That's something with the throttle body. Just got off work n it's raining so no time to mess with it. May just read up some to check possibilities.

Lol so you need floor mats, haha thanks. Well see what's next. I have no time with work, it sucks.
Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Headers Finally On!
* I need cool floor mats lol. I have some rubber ones from Wally World
Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Headers Finally On!
Should try Black light floor mat lights. Would look really cool i think, always wanted to try.
Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Headers Finally On!
So I had the day off of work today because of the rain. I haven't gotten to mess with the codes yet, I need to get under the car n take out the o2 n check the connections. Now for the p2101, I took of my intake n seen my throttle body was cocked a little like its stuck, now do them sit flush or are they cocked? When doing my headers I do a wire brush n tried cleaning off the gunk inside, I didn't use any solvent or cleaner so I'm thinking the brush pushed the gunk to the side where it rotates n it's not closing all the way, so it's setting off the code? Idk if that's a good guess or what. Help me out lol. :th_scratchhead:
I also bit the bullet n ordered some ssc springs this morning!:th_clapping: I went n bought some meguiers natural shine and some 5% tint too. Cleaned up my interior a little n tinted my reverse bar! It turned out pretty good for myself and was really tedious lol. So I'm going to write a little how to of what worked best for me. I tried first impatiently n it was a disaster so I figured I better take my time n do it right lol. I was about to just vht it lol. But I found a solution.
Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Headers Finally On!

Lol yeah that sucks, I want it glossy n that vht crap seems flat. I'm not the greatest at wetsand ing either. That's why I need to re do my spoiler lol. N once I get them n have a free day they'll be on quick. Now that I'm not going in blind n know what to do. I might try just the rears first n see how it looks with the DNA fronts. But anyways well tackle that when it gets here n there will be plenty of pics.
Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Headers Finally On!
I thought about mixing up the SSC and DNA when the time comes and finding the right combo. Figured I won't make much reselling the DNA when you factor in what they cost on eBay and then what shipping would be.
I tried the whole VHT nightshade thing years ago as well as using normal tint and well it sucked lol so of course I forked up the money and had Flip them. 4 years later still looking good.
