Yeah the gr2s are pretty cheap. N SSCs mihht be it but im gonna take my time because I just did mine like two weeks ago n dont wanna have to keep doing them lol. Some of the 04+ look good on the lowering thread with them but I think the b&gs do too. So ill compare n weigh out price n all that. Its just hard because all is different it seems. But ours lower more than the earlier years so thats good. Moneys not the problem in the end 200 for ssc or like 250 for b&g I think. But eibachs are 260 I believe. But ill sell my dnas too so we will see. I just want it to look as even as possible. Or coilovers ftw:sly:

Headers are a love/hate. You'll love then once there in and leak free and you'll hate doing them. Not sure if I mentioned it before in the past but you'll need a o2 extension for the rear...you can easily make your own..that's what I did.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
Quick dumb question. I read in the big bad brake thread 04+ calipers are 11.7"..n aren't the impala s 12? So what's the difference n is it worth it?
-
Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
^^^ My guess is that some people said the Impala is supposed to be my "Luxurious" or something. But i dont know much on these things other than my input is there the same dang car and platform, i dont think there's a difference.

Lol right, well it's obvious for the 97-03 because there calipers are 10.7" or something n it's direct bolt on instead of the fbodys where you need to drill the hole bigger. So for 04+ we need to do gxp or 13s or ctsv's?
-
Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
Correct me if wrong
I know you can run the 12" rotor on the 04s with the stock caliper (i do) and I believe the SS brakes are dual piston vs the single piston we have but been years since I did research into brakes that I've forgetting most.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)
Just get corvette calipers and call it a day. lol, i really dont know much on brakes but i do know you can put these on in place on the 04+. I think
