The dash is actually plastidip, it's god awful red underneath it. It looks good black.

I don't have one of those nice belltronics ones, just a cheapo Cobra one, but it works well enough to save me 99% of the time.

But I do have mine mounted similar, I put mine up above the mirror and to the left, so its sucked up by the headliner, and hidden by the shaded area. Hard to spot there, but views everything.

I bought mine for $30 shipped off amazon it's a whistler 145 it works fine has save me dozens of time you don't need a super expensive one just a basic one, better then driving around blind

i do lol i hardly ever am more then 5mph over the speed limit its just nice to know where the cops are

you could also use your eyes. and watch traffic ahead of you if they are on their brakes or not.

The only time i'd need it is when I think I'm going to make a WOT run, whether for scanning or if I'm going to embarrass someone :P. Other than that, I drive no faster than 7 mph over if the speeds atleast 45mph and up. But I'd rather get false readings than no readings at all.
