That is a sharp looking ride. The paint is awesome. Welcome to GPF and nice pics to start the build thread with.

Here are some other photos, just bought a 2002 GTP Black with 57k on it and here it is with my 2000 GT with 80k. The GT has projector headlights and matching tail lights, drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads and new tires, tinted windows, and a sweet Bluetooth Kenwood system. The GTP has the Bose system, heads up display, leather seats. This is my new work in progress car. I don't plan on doing anything else with the GT.

I would get more done on my cars but cannot afford things like some of the other people on this site can do. Got a wife and family to worry about. Was hoping to get leather seating in the GT but not sure if its worth the cost. Looks like I now need to get a new house with 2 car garage

Thanks, looking to do some things to the GTP as soon as I can get some money together, probably duplicate what I did to the GT. I am still thinking on the projector lights, not sure if I should get the chrome lights or go with gloss black with the smoke. Anyone have any ideas?

Just some updates on the 2002 black GTP, started my build process. First off, replaced the air filter in the car. On the trip back from where I bought the GTP. Averaged 28.5 MPG according to the DIC and got 460 miles on the tank. Here is a picture of the old one. Replaced with K&N. Brought gas mileage up to 31 MPG.

Next up the stereo, Purchased a Kenwood KDC BT852HD which is great sounding with the Bose system. I also installed the steering wheel control with it. I also changed the new face plate with a pocket style. The stereo is great with Bluetooth streaming and external microphone for calls. I use a GPS app on my iPhone for turn by turn directions and what is more fantastic, it even lowers the volume on Pandora or the stereo and speaks through the stereo speakers when a turn is coming up. Next, I added some red LED's to the floor board lights and disconnected the over head map light where it doesn't come on with the dimmer switch and replaced the license plate and fog lights to LED. Later going to install new Halo Projector headlights with 6000K HID kit

Cleaned and painted the front grille, but planning on buying the wire mesh kit at a later date.

Here is a photo of the engine bay, have no plans to do anything to it. Engine runs great and I am a simple person and why mess with something that works. I do have plans to put it in a garage and get all fluids flushed and replaced, even the supercharger.

Thanks, I am planning on getting either black or chrome with smoked housing but not sure. On the red GT I have them without HID's and the lighting is bad.
