Honest opinion they'll pretty look rough and the fact that you'll need a downpipe/flex etc he would have to be adding a quite a bit to sweeten the deal. Meanwhile your giving him a functioning gen v. If it was me I would pass...sell the gen v outright..then get a set of SDs and modify them.

This is just my opinion so ultimately it's your call

IIRC gen v go for $250-350ish but I would check past for sale threads and verify a price range. Clean it up..maybe respray it and increase the chance of someone jumping on it.

When I seen the headers in that type of condition I immediately thought hmm he probably had trouble selling them like that or selling just the downpipe and he's trying to pawn them off to someone else to deal with. As cheap as headers are know a days he won't sell them in that condition for to much.

Yeah I figured 265 plus shipping, but I don't mind working with them but what would you say to ask him for cash and them?

Ok so new togs are like 800, he said he will give some cash how much extra should I say for trade? I have a spot where my dp and straight pipe connect the flange is warped and I have a leak, so I im going to have them just make a 3in dp thats just connected to my straight pipe and use the money he gives me to do that

    Ditto

Why are you so set on buying used togs that aren't in excellent condition and missing the downpipe?

Yeas togs may cost $800 new and that would be all awesome if SDs/SSAC never existed now you'll rarely find a buyer for them at that price when there's cheaper options

Yeah I told the guy the same thing, unless he gives me like 150 that would be fine because I found a cut out I would just have made with the dp. But yeah I still have them up for trade/ sale
