Are you ready for me give you a blunt response? Lol

Spending more money. When the first 2 statements tells me another story
Everything being what exactly?
You already have a cam...so what if it's not a NIC until you run your setup how do you know that you won't be satisfied with your new set up? Stop feeding into all the hype that either go with a NIC or a huge cam or bust. Some guys are happy not going extreme with their builds and just going moderate and keeping it a reliable DD. Until you have driven or riding in GP or wbody that has had other set ups you really dk what you'll like and what will fit your needs! The same guys that go around and scream NIC/bigger or bust probably have based that opinion just from reading on here or watching youtube clips and not from real world experience. Spend the money on getting the rest of the things you need and get the car running correct first. If you decide that you want to mod further (heads/bigger cam etc) then do so later on. It doesn't take long to pull the heads or cam our through the fender if it comes down to that. Spend the money getting the rest of the parts you need to put the heads/cam/genv on it and then fix the trans issue your having. At the end of the day you will eventually realize that a GP is a GP and will never be a (insert fast car of your choice) so don't try to go overboard making it that. Get it to a point where your absolutely happy. Remember your building the car for YOU, and not everyone else. It's your money, your car!
I just like to really work on my car and I do like the 3.4 set up but Iwwould like to get a little more out of my gp. That's why I would like to cam it if I have to suck it up and not have a car for another 3 weeks if thats what it takes, I am thinking about it a lot thats why im asking for feed back I will see how much I make Friday to see what I really want to do but like you said its my car so in the end I will do what want with it. But thank yoi though for all your help so far im going to take it apart more tomorrow and go from there, and maybe bring the transmission to a place they said they will bust it open for free and tell me whats wrong
I would try the cam you have first you really never know you may fall in love and not regret that's not a NIC and since you've already have it ...no extra money is spent right now. Down the line if you still decide you want a NIC its a 1 day swap and you can sell your correct cam to offset the cost.
At one point in time I wanted a big cam but then caught a deal on the vs, installed it and was happy maybe down the road ill go bigger (doubtful) then it's a rather quick swap.
What all do you need that's left before you put everything back together and throw the motor back in the car?
*Due to the high RPM powerband of this cam, we highly recommend these supporting mods: *Rollmaster double timing chain,*Comp OE-R lifters,*130#*Valve Springs, & standard*retainers. *130# springs are not required, you could run less valve spring, but it will limit the overall RPM capability of the cam.
This is what zzp said to run I have 105 with ported heads so I need a chain lifters headers and gaskets, witch reminds me the header gasket looked like it was splitting apart like if it was two gaskets is this normal?
Now you know you can't exactly believe what ZZP says 90% if the time.
Run LS6 lifters those OE-R are noisy as hell!
Stock manifold gaskets are mls multi layer steel meaning they are multiple layers it's normal
So this is without the chain I figured I can still use mine, also without the input shaft headers and tune, Ican get a tune from ssomeone I know with a hardened input shaft new, I need to find someone headers at a good price, been with the girlfriend going to go outside here soon when she goes for work
Get headgasket, timing cover gasket, new stock timing chain and dampener all from advance use a coupon code and save money.
you can get a pulley and hub on here for half the price
Ok I will see how much the gaskets are with a company account, and I will have to look for one I found a guy on cl but he never got back to me about his pulley
google search for the name of the on line store or auto parts store and add discount codes, site after site will show up.
advance has some of the best buy on line and pick up local deals when you add the code. the one they list every month is something, but if your buying a lot of stuff, the more you spend the more you save. when using the right code.
