Cannot beat free for sure. Do you know anything about the Bose stereo in the Pontiac? Thinking about buying a new Kenwood stereo but not sure what is involved because of the Bose system and Amp

No but vlad or deadsnake had them in his car and he said they sound nice I have headphones from them got in my car when I got it looked them up 100 $ for them and I washed them dried them and they still sound amazing and I could imagine there car speakers sound

Can you check with them and see if they installed new stereos in their cars and how they hooked up the Bose Amp

Yes, the black GTP came with the stereo, all original. The only reason I am changing it out is because I want the Bluetooth phone and streaming the music through my iPhone. The stock stereo sounds good but has no features to it except the CD which I really don't listen to anymore.

just connected right in to the back of the new stereo? That sounds great. I am not sure but I might have to replace the Bose amp because I am hearing a whining noise. Even when I turn the volume down I can hear it whine except when I turn power completely off

How did you pay for it? I may need to get one also because of the whining I am hearing, but I think it is the head unit which is the original Delco although it is a Bose system. Don't understand that. I heard the speakers are actually audiovox under with Bose's name on them
