It'll cost more redoing that 3800 then just to get a jy one and be done with it.
He is the owner of a shop so he probably has the resources to get it done, this is the description of the car 1984 pontiac fiero needs a little work. Has 139k miles.Runs and drive no problem. The body is pretty decent and all the parts are there. The Bad, needs a tune up and new tires. also does not have a radio in it. I can put one in if it is a must. also needs new brakes. Old ones are sticking a bit. Shifts though all the gears no problem. So for that I will get it just to drive in winter and when the grand prix is down im tired of using the Saturn my grandmother is complaining about regular maintenance which I'm doing anyways lol
Fiero a 2.8?

I think he said hes a 2.4 maybe a 8 not sure ill ask him tonight when he's off work, but yeah here's my girl now getting ready to have the motor pulled once again lol oh how I miss her
4 or 6 cyl?
Its a 4cylinder, and yeah im going to push the camaro out of the garage and put the Grand Prix in there we have one of those tube space heaters
the Fiero is getting dropped off tomorrow trading my old gtp motor with a knock, the Camaros body, and a couple hundred dollars for gas can't wait for my winter beater lol, I found out what's wrong with it nothing too big of a deal, it has no radio, brakes on the front sticks a little, and one of the fan has a problem turning on. not too worried about the fan though because it being winter its not going to over heat
oh yeah got a box of goodies injectors, 180t , and af gauge cant wait to install what do I have to do with the 3random wire's im guessing power and ground and something else? Also can I run 2 gauges at a time it looks like one more can hook up to it?
Cut out came 2 days early
Ok so guy backed out with original car but found this one for same price 89, xxx original miles and I still have the camaro to sell, this car runs great feels better then the grand prix at some points lol, just needs the breaks bled again he just replace them they feel fine for now though seat is ripped not a problem, and there is a small exhaust leak right before the tips I love the car and drove 1h 30min and only used a little less the a quarter of a tank![]()
Ok so update, grand prix is getting finished this week once i get back the transmission talked to a guy he builds a lot of 3800 and said we can take my car to his shop pull the old motor and transmission and put mine back in and tune it, he said for payment he will take my old transmission so I said that's fine. I'm working on getting gtx rims and metal badges, also the fiero is becoming a fastback, selling some things might get a fiero part car that's a gt and go from there with the new dd, the gtx will get new plates and will be put back on insurance.

I got me a set of gtx rims the last peace to the puzzle, guy has brand new mats in gray and metal badges I'm going to get off him, going to sell my plastic ones. But yeah transmission should be done this weekend, and then it's going to built. I have a few people coming over for parts and cars so I might be able to buy the extra little things to add on to my build like Polished parts
Ok so just wanted to know if I had my car tuned for e85 would it be worth it with my nic cam build? Also I know I have seen guys just run bigger injectors with a tune and small pulley, could I do this with 42.5 injectors a 3.4 and tune? I do plan on getting a smaller pulley would like a 3.0 and swap between the 2 when needed, I figured if I can run it with that I will end up getting the re wire kit and a better fuel pump. I have a new fuel filter so I figured if I change it over change the filter run a tank or 2 and then change it again to clean out the fuel system of old gas. Just curious before I send out to get a tune thanks guys can't wait to be driving in the grand prix againlol
With e85 on your build you'd need 60# and an upgraded pump
Iv seen guys run a long time without the pump, there isn't a way I could make it work with my set up now with a really good tune or will it be more problems?
You'd have to run a big pulley. You'd be able to run a 3.0 or 2.8 with 60# on e85
