Joey dont let them get to you. Know you did it right yourself, and if they cant read or ask screw it. But im glad you joined, and thanks again for the help on tire sizes on instagram.
lower it !
a 3.6 on a gen V is much different than a 3.6 on a gen III...
A 3.6 on a Gen V is roughly equal to 3.4 on a Gen III if I'm not mistaking.
Your car Will love you with a set of headers. Wait for SD headers to come back in stock or get some SSAC headers. Those are two options if your on a budget.
Either way, Sharp looking car man.
Either way as long as its not knocking you should be in the green. We just don't tend to encounter people who have the car tuned, they get online and read about people dropping pullies and doing swaps to GenVs and think its ok on a stock motor. Also believe we have heard "its got supporting mods", but it don't.
This is one of the best GP forums for info because we prefer to not have people come back screaming "You made me blow my motor", "you said I was safe with a 3.0 pulley on a stock motor with just an intake and a "jet chip" off ebay!"... these things don't settle well. So you will have to excuse us coming off as mean, we just get concerned when we see something out of place, and typically a GenV with a smaller pulley and no headers is a ticking time-bomb.
Yeah when you put it that way i can respect that. But yes guys car is tuned good. Friend that did it had 11sec GTP he built and tuned himself so everythig is on point with no knock. No $25 ebay tuner here haha. Headers will come if i decide to keep building on the car, even if i don't they prob will still be done. Just did the GenV this winter so car has only been out twice with it done. Seasonal driveway queen no winter driving !
A Gen V to a Gen III is essentially a .2 pulley size difference.
So in retrospect, you could run a 2.55 pulley on a Gen V which would equal a 2.35 on a Gen III
Headrs=moarpowa
Looks clean :beer:

TLsheff summed it up very well the "I have the support mod" thing comes up often and after some questioning realizes that they don't and by then the damage is probably already dont.
Couldn't have said it better myself most people's "supporting mods" are an eBay KandN filter and a tune is something that comes in the mail lol my cars tuned with a stock pulley GenIII and it helps, this is a clean car and a nice build welcome to the forum
