Really 242? Does Subaru test drive each car prior to shipment?

Out of the factory, onto shipment a couple times depending (train, truck, ship, etc) and into lot shouldn't be more than 10-12 miles at most. Our salesmen start making calls if our new trucks come in with more than 20-25 miles on them.

I think they may have drove it for the dealer transfer. Doesn't matter, it's under warranty.

True... When I was a Jeep tech I used to do PDI's (Pre Delivery Inspection) and we would only put about 3 miles on a car that already had maye 3 miles so not to show more than 15 miles. Even though you recieved this car from your employer, I would have been pissed if it had more than 30 miles upon delivery.... just sayin. Still an awesome car for free.99.

^ Agreed. I wouldn't bat an eye with 500 miles for a free new sports car. Just threw me when you said 242 off the lot. But if it had a dealer transfer and was driven it could very easily be that high.

Either way, great car and I'm waiting for some fun videos once its broken in.

They likely drove it. My dads new 2012 Mazda 3 has 12 miles on it when we bought, only has 2700 now, 4 months later. You sure are driving it alot.
