Wow that's awful
Hey also....new alternator going on tomorrow...a bro hooked me up
Some pics and all from the farm. It was nice being home but a half mile gravel driveway and a clean car don't work good together.
Dog wanted some photo time
And a video

And this is a tiller that belonged to my dads dad that I haven't started in two years. I changed the oil and drained all old gas and then started it up. Best part of all....it actually started on the first pull. http://static.photobucket.com/player...ps699836aa.mp4

Fixed for now. I'll fix them they correct way later
ok for those who haven't been following in the WTB thread or other threads i chatted in heres an update.
I solved my steering wheel wobble problem....i believe....im about 90% sure i found it
So to get on my soap box for a few minutes advanced auto parts is a bunch of sh*t bags who dont care about customers or customer service. I should of know when i bought the part 2200 miles ago but i figured i would trust the guy behind the counter. (im not gonna mention names). Well they sold me the wrong cv shaft. im pretty sure the one they sold me is for a gt not a gxp. Below is the difference.
The top is the one from advanced auto parts and the bottom one is the one i bought from oreilly auto parts that is an exact match to the OEM one which i still had
As you can very well see the wrong one from advanced was show and the boot was streching.
Now i think after talking with people and searching this is the output shaft. It came out when i pulled the drivers side cv shaft off. If this comes out on you its really not a big deal and is easy to put back in.
What was happening was the incorrect cv half shaft was causing a bad vibration and it caused this ring showed in a photo below to shatter and pretty much fuse the wrong cv shaft to the output shaft.
heres a pic of the ring...its that little piece with yellow on it
heres the end where that ring shattered at
Now the way i ended up getting the cv shaft off of the output shaft was wrap the center of the output shaft with a shop towel then put it in a vice. then i tried using a normal hammer to knock the cv shaft off...to no avail. what ended up knocking it off was a 10lb sledge hammer
ill post more pics wednesday morning when i put the car back together...the replacement ring comes in tomorrow with two day shipping from amazon. a big thanks to NegativeOne13 for his help there. And thanks to the others who are mailing me a spare.....i dont wanna ever be in this situation again even though ive never heard of it happening.
If you have any questions about all this BS post em and ill do my best to answer. Also if ya want more pics just ask i have them
this is just a pic of the incorrect drive shaft in there
this is just how i take my cv shafts off...ive found it to be much easier
just a random pic
and the cv shaft removed

Haha I did a couple months ago...I was lazy and didn't even take em off. I used G2 red paint and the front calipers were new so just cleaned em and painted everything that could be seen with the car together. Did same for the rears but stripped the paint off first
O yea...I should just spray paint them black with heat resistant paint. I have some but just to lazy. If this fixes the wobble then I will lol
When I got my new CV shafts, the reviews for the Advance shafts said not to get them cause of the three belows and bad fit. I replaced mine with autozone cheapies that had 5 belows and fit correctly.
