With a 160* your KR sensors wont even turn on, or not until the car has been running for quite awhile.

So if your seeing 8* KR when your engine is at 160* your KR sensors are not engaged and your PCM cant pull timing to to combat the KR you are seeing, therefore your engine could go boom.

Keep it safe, go with a 180*

Yea it seems "american older" cars do it alittle differently then I'm used to thanks for the information. I put a 190 in there.

Wait till you see the damage the previous owners did. I have never in my life seen such horrible shape motor mounts. The oil pan gasket had 0 silicone once I losened all the bolts it just fell off. The previous owner. Removed. Secondary 02 sensor. Removed oil pressure sensor. And oil level sensor. So I put them all back. Just gotta drill and weld for 02 sensor. About to do sway bar links. And ball joints.

Tomorrow is tr6 plugs which I just saw is 3 steps colder....great. ill try and gap to compensate. Got some wires too.

I flushed the horrid coolant out and pressureized the system to get the gunk/build up out. Filled with fresh coolant. Hopefully s/c oil and coupler come then I can fix that. Ordered suspension. Then that goes in. Then once I've checked everything else out then ill go put plates on it and daily it.
