With a 160* your KR sensors wont even turn on, or not until the car has been running for quite awhile.
So if your seeing 8* KR when your engine is at 160* your KR sensors are not engaged and your PCM cant pull timing to to combat the KR you are seeing, therefore your engine could go boom.
Keep it safe, go with a 180*
Re: J-Liss Soon to be self tuned-corn fed stock w-body.
Yea it seems "american older" cars do it alittle differently then I'm used to thanks for the information. I put a 190 in there.
Wait till you see the damage the previous owners did. I have never in my life seen such horrible shape motor mounts. The oil pan gasket had 0 silicone once I losened all the bolts it just fell off. The previous owner. Removed. Secondary 02 sensor. Removed oil pressure sensor. And oil level sensor. So I put them all back. Just gotta drill and weld for 02 sensor. About to do sway bar links. And ball joints.
Tomorrow is tr6 plugs which I just saw is 3 steps colder....great. ill try and gap to compensate. Got some wires too.
I flushed the horrid coolant out and pressureized the system to get the gunk/build up out. Filled with fresh coolant. Hopefully s/c oil and coupler come then I can fix that. Ordered suspension. Then that goes in. Then once I've checked everything else out then ill go put plates on it and daily it.
Re: J-Liss Soon to be self tuned-corn fed stock w-body.
You don't really need the second o2 it doesn't anything other that set a check engine light if it's not there
Re: J-Liss Soon to be self tuned-corn fed stock w-body.
You can just buy this for your Downstream o2
Easy Performance - O2 Emulator #EP-O2SM-GM01

bhahahaha, thats redic, no wonder i would see the motor rock. its all solid now. I think the guy had nitrous on this car, i see 3 drilled holes and zex stickers in engine bay.
also fond a sticker on the windsheild that said Clubgp member, too bad they arent numbered so then i can see what this guy was posting, so i know what he all jacked up.
so once i get everything all washed ill just take some random shots, then in spring, re-spray her, rubberize coat the underbody and fender walls. and then wire tuck the engine bay/paint.
O the car has been sitting outside for 1.5 year, it needs the Jliss special before i post pics lol. Im a small time photographer, so im kinda picky.
o i also make custom weighted shift knobs...all my knobs are 2lbs or under....here are my items. $40.00 shipped

Those are some really nice looking cars man :)
Re: J-Liss Soon to be self tuned-corn fed stock w-body.
Thanks dood! appreciate it! I really like them all, their all fun. i wish i had a garage to put them in, i had a warehouse where i kept 4 of t hem at a time, and would host install meets inside, it was really nice, only paid 350 a month for it, i could fit 10 cars in there. it was huge, they use to use it for their semi trucks, was going out of business so they rented it out to me. so can you imagine how long it was haha. i miss it, but then the bank came and told me all my cars, parts/ stuff/tools had to be out in a week cause the company stopped paying for the property...i had 2 project cars i was working on, a alittle 1993 sentra, and rwd celica that i had to junk cause i had no where to put them.
Re: J-Liss Soon to be self tuned-corn fed stock w-body.

That sucks so bad :( How do you like that Speed 3? I really want one. I heard they're balls to the walls fast.
Re: J-Liss Soon to be self tuned-corn fed stock w-body.
LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE it, best best best car. man im serious, the curves, the hatch, the power, the 6spd transmission, the exhaust note, simplicity, ONLY setback we have is fueling, with the DI (direct injection) there are no after market injectors for us. But thats what i love about our board we are HUGE on DIY, so we make our own Fifth port aux fuel controller setups to compensate...IE ( adding injectors and spraying into TB)
Seriously man, love the speed3 wouldnt mind a speed6. nothing like chillen in 4th gear and ripping the tires loose.
e85-downpipe-fuel pump internals tune. i was at 320hp 430trq stock turbo.

Holy SH!T! That sounds nasty! I want one so bad, I hope I can find a clean one after the GP. How's the maintenance and whatever costs on it?

all is normal like any other car, from like the 1000's of oil samples and oil filters we sent in to get tested, we found the car loves, shell t6 rotella oil. and believe it or not, of all OIL filters we tested....NAPA gold was the best hahaha 5/5 times.
the car responds to bolt on's well. BUT any drastic changes like anything you will need a MAF CAL. like i went from a short ram to cold air intake, and it threw my MAF cal off and i had to adjust it. but i mean that's when your deep in the game.
i made my own from scratch water to air incooler system. only thing i didnt make was the water lines and water pump.
i highly recommend the car, go test drive one, take off traction control and take off from second gear in a low RPM, that k04 action baby.

Sounds pretty legit either way. I would love me a car like that. More fuel efficient than a GP, and would blow the doors off of a GP.
If I find one and go look at it, I'll hit you up with some questions :D
