"So I then called my mechanic friend and had him take a look at it and he said he didn't think the head gasket was blown but that the oil cooler was leaking into the coolant."

Which Oil cooler might this be?

That's what I thought he meant but I wouldn't call it an oil cooler

well obviousally lol... The only way you would have an oil cooler is if somebody installed it (which i doubt). the Police Interceptor Impalas had them. Because they were "heavy duty"

Your average grand prix doesn't have such a thing, lol, even if it did, idk how an oil cooler would allow oil into the coolant

I'll put $ on your LIM gasket being likely beyond f***ed

What it ended being was dex-cool sludge that looks like oil lol. The lim wasnt shot but it was the cheap kind so switching it made sense. Starting a new a much better paying job soon so more fun is coming. She is filty but the weather has been crap so she hasnt gotten a bath recently and hood is peeling big time and the bumper has not been painted yet so there is stuff i need to do. Hopefully summer will come with paint, stereo, and some more mods

I like it, obviously mot my car, but no thats not what is happening right now
I wire up an amp to make my 6x9s sounds a bit more fun

Its just sitting there right now

Installed a back up because i cant see anything out of the back window
I installed a double din but didnt like the look of it, i cut my bezel to make ot fit so got a new one out of the junkyard
New alpine spr-69 6"x9" for the rear and alpine 6 1/4 for the front
As far as my shoddy paint and miscolored bumper goes well for now we are gonna give this a try

And last but certainly not least......

    ........

    ........
    Its worth the wait

    .......

My girl picked me up something awesome for helping her with her car and other things
They need a little love but i don't even care due to the awesome nature of the awesomness....
Can you tell i am excited?

I don't really like the gpo's very much I have plans for the little metal inserts I have now.... What is a g8 concept bumper though. A quick google search had me staring at stuff that didn't really fit

And what he always seems to neglect to mention to folks is that that's a one off custom bumper and finding someone to duplicate it well it's going to cost a lot
