I got my pontiac overlays for the rear bumper, they look quite good!
I had installed a couple of projector fog lamps a while ago, they were too small and didn't fill the fog lamp hole in the bumper very well so I ordered a set of CCFL rings that go with the projectors to try and fill it out better. I'm not a fan of CCFL stuff but I think it doesn't look bad at all.

I finally got rid of the 20's. I got tired of them and I bent one in a pot hole the other night so I decided to trade them for stock ones.
The ride quality improved x100 times. It runs faster. The steering would hopelessly wiggle at 50mph and that is gone too. It vibrates a lot less. The rear tires dont rub anymore.
I should have done this since day one lol.
The rear wheels spin way too much. I'm going to add rear LCA's and a front STB and see how it works, I might add other stuff like sub frame connectors and torque arm relocation thing if necessary, I just hope that stuff wont make it vibrate more I was thinking of using rubber bushings instead of the harder ones.
Poly based anything for suspension parts rule.
Are those the F-body 16x8s? If that is the case you need to find a set of vette 17x9s or TA/SS 17x9s with some fat back tires so you can get traction. The 245s they usually ran on the 16s weren't the best for traction.
But by far a HUGE improvement over the 20s you had before.![]()
The LCAs just got here:
I also ordered LCA relocation brackets. I understand the benefits of lowering the LCAs angle, I just don't fully understand yet why do the brackets give you the option to lower them either one or two inches. What would the pros and cons would be of doing one or the other?
I will also install sub frame connectors in the next weeks and probably a torque arm if I get one locally. I was thinking also of a ram air lower air box, but I haven't found much information regarding whether there are any benefits over the regular one inch air box.
Aren't those trailing arms?
The WS6 model didn't come out here in Mexico, so it's hard to come by any WS6 stuff. I will get one if I get a good deal on one, but not on my main list at the moment.
Yes they are trailing arms, they are referred to as rear lower control arms though, I'm not sure if there's any difference. Anyway I had them installed today and took it for a ride. They do make a big difference on the overall stability of the car. I don't have to fight it anymore to keep it straight when launching and it handles a lot better while turning.
Once I get the LCA relocation brackets and the STB, I'll take it to the track and hopefully it won't spin the wheels all the way to 2nd gear this time.
