Stuper glue, or even just some electrical tape so it matches. The cone of the speaker just moves air so as long as it's sealed it should work.

Oh good idea, well I put some super glue up and tape up there for now. Problem sort of fixed. I might take this opportunity to rethink my subs. My roommate suggested two 10's

Well the way i have it now is that i have 2 channels on my 4 channel amp bridged for the sub so his idea was to unbridge them for two separate subs and maybe try to make it look a little cleaner. I saw this awesome build thread on S/W where the guy's sub box was an old suitcase and i really liked that idea. I'll try to find the picture real quick

As long as its sealed it'll work just like a regular box would.

Thanks! Yeah i'll try and get some better pictures.

And the suitcase is pretty vw haha but i like the idea. I asked the guy how it works and he actually built a wooden box that fits inside and the suitcase is essentially just the "carpet" on the outside. He says it works fine because theres no difference from a regular sub box with the wooden one inside. I've been trying to get ideas because This spring i really want to clean up the air setup and turn it into something to look at instead of a mess of wires.

I just spent a good hour arguing with a bunch of morons how your car is the first to go at this style, how it is not rice and how awesome it really is for the community. Waste of time some may say, why would I waste my breath with these close minded bastards... I did it because nobody deserves to get bashed like that.

I also never said it was rice, i just said in my opinion the rear doesnt flow with the body, its hard because the body is so curvy. but im all for people trying new things with the w-body

ok, so, sure, good on ya for doing your own thing with your car.... but running an extra 10mm spacer on that's gonna deff turn me off from this thread....

There are just some certain things that should stay withen certain car communities... Next we're gonna start seeing fake rusted hood's on gp's, i'm sorry man, but i un-subbed, looked good up intill now
