How is the ride on bags? Better than coilovers I imagine.

youre still pretty low. stance isnt just about being slammed to the ground anyways. now dave, you should submit your ride to speedhunters.

I think you should make a build thread, all they're gonna say is "moar low" but most of them like to see anything different from the usual

I agree with that, they might want to feature it

    Thanks!

The ride isn't too bad, I'd say its better than coils just because it doesn't bottom out anywhere. It is bouncier than coils right now, I'm trying to figure out how to solve that. The struts have adjusters at the bottom for the valving i assume, I need to mess around with those some. Its still pretty stiff too, it corners almost as good as on coils. But it definitely doesn't glide down the road like on a cloud or something. I really want to have one of my friends drive it so I can see how much it bounces from the outside

I did that with the 'Balt before and after my rear strut swap...it was a HUGE difference...going from a pgo stick to looking just like a slightly lowered car with a smidge of bounce.

I probably will one day. They'll love that the front sits a little higher than the rear because of the Konis in the back and GR2s up front.

I guess i've gotten used to it, but i really paid attention driving yesterday and it can be pretty damn bouncy haha. I drove my friends around a little bit and it rides way smoother with a heavy load and its the back bags that do the most bouncing around

Yep I still have them. I'm trying to sell them though to put it towards tire money for the new wheels

Only problem I had then was I was raping everything on the bottom of my car when I had a passenger + a couple in the back, lol.

I got some test fit pictures today. I'm super happy with how they fit. I think the fronts are just about perfect and the rears need a small spacer to bring them out closer to the fender and to give me a little more inside clearance. The rears are about 3/4" away from hitting the fender wall and the trailing arm.

You think so? Do most tires stretch alright? I'm just worried that these tires are going to be difficult to get on there and get the bead to set. I think the size is good, i was just going to sell them for tires that get stretched a lot

I'll let Bio chime in but you should be fine, they may wear faster but you should be fine.

Its not a huge stretch really, this one is pretty close to what I think you will look like, you may need a 10-15mm spacer in the rear to match them up, rear fenders flare more.
