Damn that's looking good. I think you should invest in some LED tails that would set off that a$$ a little more.

Out of curiosity, have you ever thought of fabbing up a wide body?

    Like this???

Seriously the only decent setup for wide body is the MPD fender kit and that starts at a low $1500, basically for fender flares that need to be fiberglassed on and then painted. Not worth the extra little bit of width to start the process all over again. Most just work with what they have and get it flush as possible.

the MPD flares don't add anymore inboard clearance unless you cut the ever living **** out of the fenders AND the flares.

Thanks! I'm still gonna re-do it at somepoint. Theres a big show in the middle of aug. and the autozone paint isn't doing it for me. I think I'm gonna get some from that automotive touchup place. I have been pondering some other colors when I ever get around to a full respray though

I've always wondered what some bolt on flares might look like on these cars, something like this

I do like the stock body lines of this car though, they're already pretty wide looking. I saw a thread about the MPD ones that this guy never finished up and it just seemed like a TON of work for not much difference. I could try and find a shop to really pull out the fenders or cut and flare them by welding them. Or the last option is duct tape and construction paper

I got some work done today on my false floor. I'm gonna get some fabric tomorrow to cover everything. I found a place close by with some gray suede for a good price. I cut out the shape of the trunk in two pieces and cut up the one wall that I had already made. And i got a couple of stickers that I had been wanting. It was hard to get a good picture of the gp sticker but it looks real good in the sunlight.

I finished up my trunk! I had thought about doing gray suede but when I went to the fabric store they had some awesome stuff in the clearance section. I decided I wanted the trunk to be a little crazy so I went with emu vinyl and I love it

Its dark outside right now so the pictures arent great

Need to do the grey carpet in black so its not all brown. Would be way too much IMO, but the black would blend in and give a clean look to everything.

I'm not really sure how to approach the rest of the trunk. Im not sure how to cover all of the bumps and corners without it looking bad. And the part over the wheel wells doesnt look like it has any seams in it? So I guess i just need to play around with it some. But I would probably do black or a darker color. The stock stuff doesnt look that bad right now though.

You should have done a hard wood vinyl

    Or

    Real hardwood flooring.

I did think about that, I like how wood looks. But the way that I set up the wood frame for the air stuff made it so that no matter how I put the wood planks down, there would be weak spots where it wasnt resting on anything. So then I would have had to lay them down on top of the plywood and things are starting to get pretty heavy. Plus Drunkie already had wood and I dont want to copy anyone. Who else has emu? Haha
