Gotchya, be careful welding. You'll want to do spot welds like you would with body work so you don't heat up the struts to much and ruin them. That is if you didn't already think of it.
This makes me want to get back under my car to get it where I want, but chit keeps getting in the way.
Yeah I am a little concerned about the welding. Especially the top bracket. It was welded on pretty good and the bottom mounts are spot welded like you said. Hopefully everything goes well.
So these struts ended up being almost an inch longer than the other ones but they end up compressing to be lower that the old ones... So I'm going to really try and measure and figure out how to get more lows without going overboard and hopefully have something next week. I'm also still working on the trunk setup but I haven't really made any progress worth posting pictures of.
I can't catch a break I swear. Some guy decided he was going to merge across 3 lanes to turn left. He hits my back quarter panel and I try to swerve out of the rest of traffic and end up running up a curb and hitting a sign. Of course the guy is nowhere to be found. I'm so frustrated. It could have been a lot worse though and i'm okay, just mad. The bumper and wheel will be fairly easy to fix but the rear is gonna need a body shop if I really want to straighten it out.

NC is considering putting stop lights on the entrance ramps to the expressways.
Mayhem will be everywhere.
Oh god that would be a nightmare. This was actually on capital coming from downtown where theres a left ramp that goes to fairview. I hate hate hate capital but its about the only way to get to school without going way out of the way
I feel as if you have the worst luck on here. that blows I had a guy almost hit me today I was freaking out so bad.
