I know how you feel. I've had my struts out at least a half dozen times in the last 6 months.

Thank you guys! So I've been talking with my friends some about what to do about my rear sway bar. When I had coils, there was a bracket that bolted to the bottom of the strut to keep the sway bar attached. I think this would work for the bags also but I'm not sure. I just don't know about raising and lowering the car so much and if that would get in the way of me being able to use it or if it would break my sway bar or something. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

stop raising and lowering the car so much, keep the ride height closer to the dumped height.

    haha.

haha I'm trying to, and I could maybe ride around a bit lower if I could attach the sway bar and get a little stiffer ride. I'm just wondering if setting the car down is going to hurt anything or if the sway bar is going to try and pull away from the strut or something like that. Its hard for me to imagine what it would do

I'd at least get shorter endlinks to match your regular ride height so it's at least back in regular geometry

Cool thanks guys, i'm gonna try and either find a bracket or try and make one. I emailed the coilover company and they said the bracket kit with shorter end links would run me about $75

Whelp my trans is well on its way to taking a dump. It threw P0742 code today on the way to school and was bucking around real bad. I did some reading up on here about it and I'm gonna do a filter change/fluid change tomorrow and add some stop slip to see if that helps enough to drive it around a few more weeks. The fluid is pretty black though and I expect to find a bunch of metal shavings in the pan so it seems the dump taking is in the near future. Yayyyyyy

Welp I'm officially gonna be out of the gp game as soon as my car sells. The torque converter went out and i'm really just tired of fixing it. I demodded this weekend and took out everything. I even put the stock radio back in since i probably wont get hardly anything out of it.

I ended up picking up a 98 cr-v with 170k miles and I like it. My parents have had one forever, my brother has one, and now me since we're familiar with them. The paint is rough on the drivers side and it needed a real good cleaning and still does on the inside, but i'll get to that. No plans for modding except my stereo and the wheels i swapped on and i may plastidip some of the trim pieces, especially the peeling ones under the window. So i'm not sure if i'll make a new thread for it or not. here she is
